eCERTIFICATION CELEBRATION

On 9 May 2022, the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD) in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, hosted a celebratory event in Gauteng to acknowledge the momentous strides made to remove paper from the export certification process, due to the establishment and growth of the eCertification (eCert) platform.

In 2018 Fruit SA was appointed by DALRRD to build the eCert platform to receive, verify, process and deliver certification documentation to trading partners associated with agricultural export products.
