Minister’s Service Delivery Forum, 16 January 2019: Fruit SA hosted the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Senzeni Zokwana, for his schedule Service Delivery Forum. This minister’s visit to the industry was a first and, therefore, a significant step for Fruit SA towards strengthened ties with government. Minister Zokwana was also treated to a walkabout at Two-A-Day farm in Grabouw, where he and his delegation witnessed first-hand the packing process of apples, as well as the quality housing that farm workers enjoy.
